Camping.
Students step off campus and into God's creation, gathered around a fire beneath an open sky.

Connection.
Strangers become friends in a weekend. Different majors, different backgrounds, one fire.

Small groups, shared meals, honest conversation. A family in Christ that lasts beyond the weekend.

Christ.
The center, the reason, the author of every Kamp. Everything else flows from here.

The Origin
It started with a camping trip called Camp Lope.
A friend group at Grand Canyon University. One weekend in the pines. Out of that grew a ministry that travels to campuses across the country.
Jarod Lovekamp helped build the early days of Camp Lope. On September 29, 2020, Jarod went home to be with the Lord. In his memory, Camp Lope became Kamp Love.
The Model
Fall trip. Spring retreat. Year-round leaders.
Fall camping trip. A lower-barrier 24-hour trip where students disconnect from the noise and meet Christ in His creation.
Spring retreat. A full weekend that deepens community and sends students back to campus rooted in discipleship.
Student-led all year. Leaders shepherd the next class into the Kamp Love community.

The five-year model moves Kamp Love from 14 funded campuses this year to 100 universities by 2030.
